Ventura Hotels - Hotels and Motels in Ventura, California

Are you ready for an endless summer, beach sunsets straight off of postcards, and weather that is just about 70 degrees year-round?  Welcome to Ventura, California.  Pretty much any hotel or Motel you decide to stay in is the right one because they are all close to the beach and gorgeous sunsets.

Factors to consider when selecting hotels near Ventura.

  • Are you are a surfer? If so do you want to walk to the beach? Then a hotel in hotel clost to the beach is your best bet.
  • Do you want to be close to the downtown area so that you have access to the best cuisine and shopping Ventura has to offer?

These are the questions you need to ask yourself when choosing a hotel in Ventura, Califoronia.

If you want to be close to downtown Ventura where the farmer’s market is held every Saturday, you should look into the Mission Bell Motel or the Crowne Plaza Hotel.  These Hotels are either within walking distance or a short cab ride to downtown.

The Crowne Plaza (formally the Holiday Inn) is right on the ocean and next to the pier. It's a favorite resort-type hotel for vacationers in the summertime and year-round.  Families love to stay here for their yearly getaways and even a quick overnighter or business trip.  Another beachfront option is the Ventura Beach Marriot.  This hotel is a bit on the pricey side, but you really get a lot for your money, including beautiful gardens, upscale rooms and close proximity to a highly-rated golf course known as Olivas Links.

If you’re looking for something a bit less expensive, you should try the Country Inn & Suites on Chestnut Street.  This hotel is right on the freeway, but it is clean and offers a free continental breakfast each morning. And if all you’re looking for is a place to stay before you head out to the beach each day, you’ll be quite satisfied.

One other thing to consider is staying right downtown in a luxurious bed and breakfast at the Bella Maggiore Inn.  You’ll be just three blocks from the beach in the heart of downtown Ventura, but you’ll feel almost as if you’re in Italy with the attentive staff waiting on you, the Mediterranean breeze blowing and the European style of the inn surrounding you.  You can walk right out and turn onto Main Street to grab a bite to eat and take in some shopping in the local boutiques.

There’s no better way to experience Ventura, California!
